Pedro Amador is licensed to practice law in Florida and
Illinois. He is additionally admitted to the Federal Middle
District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for
the 11th Circuit

Personal:
Pedro L. Amador, Jr. was born in Tampa Florida and has lived in
the Tampa Bay area throughout his life. He attended Hillsborough
High School and the University of South Florida. He attended the
John Marshall Law School in Chicago from which he graduated in
1992. He returned to Tampa Bay to practice law in 1993. He is
active in his church, Sacred Heart Church, and is a Rotarian.
Pedro worked for the Public Defenders Office, Hillsborough
County, for four years. He represented and took to trial
numerous juvenile and adult clients. He received extensive trial
experience and training. He was promoted to the position of
Division Supervisor where he supervised and trained lawyers in
the art of trial tactics, preparation, and cross examination. He
left the Office of the Public defender to open his private
practice in Criminal Defense.
ROBERT TAGER, ATTORNEY
Professional:
Robert Tager is licensed to practice law in Florida. He is
additionally admitted to practice law in the federal Middle
District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for
the 11th Circuit.
Robert graduated from Florida Atlantic University. He attended
law school at Nova Southeastern University, Sheppard Broad Law
Center, where he was elected twice to be the President of the
student bar before graduating. He graduated law school and was
admitted to the Florida bar in 1998.
Robert worked for the Public Defender’s Office in Hillsborough
County for two years. During that time, he represented numerous
clients and took to trial numerous juvenile, misdemeanors, DUI’s,
and felonies. He worked on several high profile cases that were
covered in the newspapers and Television. He was later assigned
to the Major Crimes division where he represented the offices
clients charged with felony DUI's, including manslaughter as
well as other major crimes. . In 2001 he went to the Public
Defender’s office in Pinellas County. He had numerous felony
trials and was a mentor to new lawyers. In 2003 he joined with
Pedro Amador in forming Amador & Tager, P.A.
Robert belongs to the National Association of Criminal Defense
Lawyers, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the
Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Academy of Florida
Trial Lawyers, and the American Bar Association.
